Maud Hughes Bridge

The Maud Hughes Bridge is located in Hamilton Ohio near Cincinnati. The bridge is one half mile north of Princeton Road on Maud Hughes Road and is situated on two sharp curves in the road that go over a double set of railroad tracks. Electrical wires run across the top of the somewhat remote bridge.
The bridges haunted history includes screams from those who have died on the bridge as well as ghost lights that can be seen at night by drivers on the bridge.
Our visit to the bridge took place on the morning of April 26th, 2003. It was a beautiful bright sun shiny 60 degree day with a 10  15 mph wind. We initially walked the length of the bridge with our TriField 100XE EMF meter and immediately noticed a high level of magnetic energy. The magnetic energy on top of the bridge registered between 8 and 10 on the EMF meter. I assumed that the magnetic energy was a result of the electrical wires over the bridge so we decided to investigate under the bridge.
We descended a sharp grade about 50 feet to the railroad tracks below. Trista was using the dowsing rods under the west side of the bridge. Shortly after she began the left rod began to spin clock-wise at a steady clip. I began using the TriField Natural EMF meter at that time and recorded readings of 4 - 5 under the bridge on the SUM setting. When I switched the meter to the electric setting I recorded a flat reading. I then switched to the TriField 100XE meter on the magnetic setting and recorded fluctuations between 8  10. When I would switch to the electric setting the 100XE would record zero.
There was a large amount of graffiti on the pillars under the bridge. There were also indications that the area under the bridge may be used for some sort of rituals. This is obviously a gathering point for night time activities.
Neither my son nor Trista liked the area under the bridge. They had a sense that an energy source was present. Whether the energy they felt was paranormal or the result of residual energy left from the rituals performed under the bridge is in question.
Before we left Trista recorded additional dowsing rod activity on top of the bridge. At the same time I had readings of between 8  10 with the 100XE on the magnetic setting.
After we returned home I ran several tests with the 100XE EMF meter in the vicinity of high tension wires and an electrical sub-station. When I was directly under a large tower of wires the 100XE meter registered 3- 6 on the magnetic setting and 10 on the electric setting. I would have expected a much lower magnetic reading at the bridge considering these were ordinary electrical wires and not a sub-station tower. Also, the 10 reading on the electric setting at the sub-station was far different than the 0 reading at the bridge. I also took the 100XE meter to several sets of railroad tracks to check the effect on the magnetic setting. On all occasions I recorded 0 on the magnetic setting so it doesn't appear that the railroad tracks should be a factor.
In summary; the magnetic energy at the site registered between 8-10 on the TriField meter both above and below the bridge. The TriField Natural EMF meter recorded 4-5 under the bridge. Both meters recorded a flat reading when on the electric setting. The high level of magnetic energy is probably the result of the electrical wires situated over the bridge. I was surprised however that the readings under the bridge were as high as those on top. The high levels of magnetic energy may be acting as a type of conductor for the paranormal phenomena that has been seen and felt.
